Privacy Policy
1. Overview
bch.ee Parasite Pool is designed to collect as little data as possible. We do not require registration, email addresses, or any personal identification. Your BCH address is your identity on the pool — nothing more.
2. Data Collected by the Pool Server
When your miner connects to para.bch.ee:3333, the pool server logs the following:
- Your BCH address — used as your username to attribute shares and send payouts.
- Worker name — the optional suffix after your address (e.g.
.worker1), used to distinguish multiple devices. - Your IP address — logged by the pool server for connection management and abuse prevention.
- Share submissions — timestamps and difficulty of shares submitted by your miner.
This data is stored on the pool server located in Frankfurt, Germany. It is not sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party, except where required by law.
3. Data Collected by This Website
This website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any form of user tracking.
When you use the My Stats lookup, your BCH address is sent directly from your browser to the pool API (para.bch.ee). It is not stored by the website.
4. Third-Party Services
This website makes requests to the following third-party services:
- Google Fonts — to load the Ubuntu and Ubuntu Mono typefaces. Google may log your IP address when fonts are fetched.
- CoinGecko API — to display the live BCH price. No personal data is sent; only a standard API request is made from your browser.
- SoloChance.org API — to calculate the estimated block rate. No personal data is sent.
These services have their own privacy policies. bch.ee Parasite Pool has no control over the data they collect.
5. GitHub Pages
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect server logs including IP addresses as part of their standard infrastructure. See GitHub's Privacy Statement for details.
6. BCH Address and Blockchain Transparency
Bitcoin Cash is a public blockchain. Any BCH address you use on the pool — and all transactions to and from it — are permanently visible on the public blockchain. This is a fundamental property of BCH, not specific to this pool. We have no ability to make blockchain transactions private.
7. Data Retention
Share and connection data is retained on the pool server for operational purposes. We do not have a fixed retention schedule during the beta period. If you would like your data removed, contact us via Telegram and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
8. Children
This service is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the pool after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
